If you or your company has been considering the purchase of quality and durable beer fridges, the market couldn’t better at this time. They have grown in popularity and usefulness over the last couple of years and have become household items for families and businesses alike. Plus, it is equipment which makes for great return on your investment. However, when it comes to purchasing them there are a few things to take into consideration.

Fridge Variations and Benefits
Various types of fridges are available on the market for commercial use. These fridges are being found primarily in grocery stores, bars and restaurants. Some are built undercounter while others can be conveniently place in the perfect location of your business. You have the option of also choosing from the freestanding ones and those that can even be placed outdoors. Plus, there are display type fridges that are commonly used in the aforementioned places as well.

Deciding on Proper Size
Deciding on the proper size fridge for your services is important for commercial use. This is important considering beer fridges come in variety of shapes and sizes. Plus, this will make a difference if you plan on servicing either bottles, cans or both from the fridge. The average beer fridge is approximately 2cu.ft or larger and if you know your measurements, 2-3 cubic feet is a lot of room for either cans or bottles, based upon the style.

Pricing
How much are you willing to spend for a particular beer fridge? On average, a small, dorm-like size fridge, don’t come with very many variation in pricing from one brand to another, but it’s never a bad idea to shop around. If you are in the market for commercial use fridges then expect to pay a commercial size price; however, don’t forget the option of sponsoring a company’s brand beer to take advantage of acquiring a “free” fridge. Many companies that are manufacturing and sponsoring these fridges will allow you to have them for “free” if an agreement is made to sponsor, advertise and/or promote their product from the fridge.

Shelves

Many of these fridges come with removable shelves, which make for easy cleaning. This is also a handy acquisition in the event you decide to chill something a little larger than the average bottle or canned beer.

These are just a few things to take into consideration before purchasing a commercialize beer fridge. The maximum cooling temperature settings, the operating sound and warranties are also worth noting when making this type of investment. It doesn’t pay to purchase something only to have it break down in a matter of weeks or months, with no recourse. If you purchase it brand new, this problem is eliminated.
